Fiberizing Machine for Stone Wool Production
The fiberizing machine for stone wool production utilizes a set of high-speed spinning wheels onto which molten basalt is fed. The melt strikes the first wheel where it is accelerated by centrifugal force and transferred to subsequent wheels, gradually forming thinner fibers. This multi-wheel centrifugal technology ensures high fiber yield, precise control of fiber diameter and a stable process even at high production capacities in mineral wool production lines.
Basic description
The equipment is designed with emphasis on mechanical robustness, precise shaft mounting and reliable drive units suitable for long-term continuous operation. Binder application nozzles ensure efficient binder distribution directly into the fiber cloud, providing uniform coating before entering the forming chamber. An optimized airflow system ensures efficient fiber transport and reduces the content of unfiberized particles (“shot”).
We supply complete mechanical assemblies of fiberizing machines including all mechanical and electrical components as well as peripheral equipment such as high-pressure fans for fiber blow-off and their ducting, connections to cooling systems, binder distribution modules and all necessary safety guards.
We also provide complete refurbishment of worn fiberizing wheels as well as the supply of new wheels.

Service, inspection and diagnostics
